Amskor Law's founding partner focuses on corporate & commercial law
Vida Korhani is the principal lawyer and founder of Amskor Law, a firm that focuses on a wide array of domestic and international corporate and commercial legal matters. Her practice is focused on key areas such as corporate governance, corporate reorganizations and restructurings, private equity transactions, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, divestitures, and project development. Vida provides strategic legal counsel to a diverse clientele, including individuals, corporations, and institutional clients, guiding them through complex legal frameworks to achieve their business objectives.
In addition to her legal practice, Vida serves as a professor at Seneca Polytechnic College, where she teaches students in the Legal Clerk and Paralegal program core legal courses, contributing to the development of future legal professionals.
Prior to establishing Amskor Law, Vida gained significant experience as an associate at a boutique corporate-commercial law firm in Toronto, where she advised businesses across Canada on growth and partnership matters. Her early legal career also includes completing her articles with a prominent criminal litigator and extensive courtroom experience, having litigated before judges, justices of the peace, and crown attorneys across Ontario.
Vida holds a Juris Doctorate from the University of Windsor (2018) and is certified as a barrister and solicitor by the Law Society of Ontario. She is an active member of several professional organizations, including the Law Society of Ontario, Toronto Lawyers Association, Canadian Bar Association, and Ontario Bar Association.
